Small Power Busbar

The CS LINE by BEShielding are built in accordance with the product standards in force.

The systems are extremely simple and quick to install because the straight elements, power supplies and flexible joints are connected by means of quick-fit joints.

The plugs can be used under voltage, avoiding downtime.
The equipment already installed can be removed and replaced and/or modified both quickly and easily.
This means that the busbar system is much more cost-effective than traditional cable systems.
The outer casing of the busbars is made from profiled aluminium that ensures strength, minimal weight, conductivity greater than any other metal, and a long life-span as it can adapt to any environmental conditions. Moreover, thanks to its cross-section and its electrical continuity, it also acts as a protective conductor (PE).
The electromagnetic emissions are very low compared to cable and busbar systems with casing made of sheet steel. Ideal for hospitals and data processing centres.
The systems are designed to operate at an ambient temperature of 40°C.
The CS series of busbars is used in the industrial sector, tertiary sector and warehouses where electricity distribution is required for equipment with small and medium-scale energy requirements.
The entire CS system ensures IP52 protection. With the addition of window shutters, the degree of protection is increased to IP55. It is flame retardant according to the legislation in force.

STRAIGHT ELEMENTS

- 4 distinct power ratings 63A/100A/160A/250A.
- 4 conductors of equal cross-section in aluminium.
- In the straight element, the conductors are separated by a self-extinguishing polymer strip support.
- Quick-fit assembly and locking with screws which ensures the electrical continuity of the protective conductor (casing).

POWER SUPPLIES

- The power supplies are provided with the respective line end closures.
- The connection is quick as in the case of the straight elements.
- They are available in two versions: with joint (left) and without joint (right).
- The 63A/100A power supplies are equipped with a mounting plate for cable lugs with cross-sections up to 25 mm2, or up to 50 mm2 in the case of 160A power supplies or 70 mm2 for 250A power supplies.
- For installations where the point of arrival of the power supply is near the centre of the electrified line, you can use intermediate power supplies that also help reduce the voltage drop at the end of the line.

ADDITIONAL ELEMENTS

Flexible joints can be used to change direction and/or bypass any obstacles along the trajectory of the line. Junctions with straight elements act like the head power supplies.

JUNCTION BOXES (PLUGS)

- The junction boxes are used for the power supply of single-phase and three-phase utilities.
- They can be inserted/removed under voltage.
- All the components are made of insulating polymer.
- The earth contact (PE) reaches the outer casing prior to insertion of the phase and neutral contacts on the conductors of the system.
- Due to its construction, it is not possible to insert the junction box incorrectly.

The versions are:
- 32A for direct connection
- 32A with DIN rail for modular switches (4 modules) or fuse holder.
- 32A with fuse holder.
- 63A for direct connection
- 63A with DIN rail for modular switches (4 modules) or fuse holder.
- 63A with fuse holder.
- 100A for direct connection
- 100A with DIN rail for modular switches (8 modules) or fuse holder.
- 100A with fuse holder.

FASTENING DEVICES

Brackets are available for mounting the busbar on the wall, on the upper structure of the building directly or with existing brackets and shelves on the wall or ceiling.
